IMSAR NSP-3

The IMSAR NSP-3 is a compact, multi-mode Ku-band radar system engineered to deliver high-performance intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities across various platforms, including Group 2–3 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and manned aircraft. Designed for all-weather operations, day or night, the NSP-3 provides actionable intelligence for both ground and maritime environments.

Ultra-Lightweight Radar for Tactical ISR

The IMSAR NSP-3 is a compact, high-performance Ku-band radar built for Group 2–3 unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and small, manned aircraft. Designed for tactical ISR missions in any weather, day or night, the NSP-3 provides advanced radar imaging and moving target detection in an ultra-lightweight package. With a total system weight of just 6.7 lbs (3.04 kg) and a low power draw of only 81W, it is ideally suited for platforms with limited size, weight, and power (SWaP) capacity. Despite its small footprint, it delivers robust capabilities across ground and maritime domains.

Optimized Performance for Low-SWaP Missions

The NSP-3 offers a full range of radar modes including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI), Maritime Moving Target Indicator (MMTI), and Inverse SAR (ISAR). It supports SAR imaging resolutions from 0.3 to 1 meter, with detection ranges up to 16 km and maritime surveillance capabilities reaching 192 km. Vehicle tracking is supported at 7 km, while MMTI tracking extends to 75 km. Operating modes such as stripmap, spotlight, wide area search, and both coherent and non-coherent change detection (CCD/MCD) make it highly adaptable for ISR tasks. The system outputs industry-standard formats (KML, NITF, STANAG), integrates seamlessly with IMSAR’s Lisa 3D™ software, and is suited for mission sets like pipeline monitoring, border surveillance, search and rescue, and environmental observation.
