ATI LN-100

Northrop Grumman LN-100G

The LN-100G is a versatile, high-precision embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System (INS) developed by Northrop Grumman. It combines the Zero-Lock™ Gyro (ZLG™) technology with various GPS solutions to deliver accurate navigation and superior sensor stability, making it ideal for applications requiring precise geo-location.

Advanced Navigation and Signal Security

The LN-100G from Northrop Grumman is a highly versatile embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System (INS) designed to deliver precise navigation solutions in demanding military environments. It integrates Northrop Grumman’s proprietary Zero-Lock™ Gyro (ZLG™) technology with advanced GPS capabilities, providing three simultaneous navigation outputs: hybrid GPS/INS, Free-Inertial, and GPS-Only. The system supports All-In-View GPS, including Precise Positioning Service (PPS) via encrypted P(Y)-code and SAASM functionality, as well as Standard Positioning Service (SPS), ensuring secure and accurate performance in GPS-contested conditions. Interface flexibility is a strong feature of the LN-100G, with digital compatibility across MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429, and RS-422, along with optional analog outputs to meet diverse integration needs.

Rugged Performance and Operational Versatility

With performance accuracy of 7 meters CEP in GPS/INS mode and 0.8 nautical miles per hour in inertial-only mode, the LN-100G delivers high precision in both position and velocity. Its attitude accuracy reaches 0.02° in GPS/INS configuration and 0.05° in inertial-only mode. Built for resilience, it operates effectively across extreme temperature ranges (-54°C to 71°C) and altitudes from -2,100 to 70,000 feet, with a mean time between failures (MTBF) of 14,400 hours. Trusted by more than 70 users worldwide—including all branches of the U.S. military and over 25 international partners—the LN-100G is fielded on a broad array of platforms such as the F-22, C-130, T-45, P-3, C-295, UAVs, UUVs, guided missiles, and helicopters. This proven, rugged system offers a mission-ready solution for advanced military navigation needs.
